What is it about being dead that makes me so horny?

HAYDEN McCLAINE

IC

NAME: Hayden McClaine
NICKNAMES/ALIASES: N/A
AGE: 22 (...and she will be 22 forever) / June 18, 1991
SPECIES: Ghost (of the dangerously corporeal variety); formerly human.
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
MARITAL STATUS: Single
FANDOM: American Horror Story (Murder House)
CANON POINT: End of Murder House season
AU: In her canon, once someone dies on the property of the Murder House, they cannot leave. They live an eternity on the property of the Murder House and are only permitted to leave on Halloween. It's not entirely AU, since she's in a whole new universe, but it merits mentioning, Hayden will be able to move about the country freely, rather than being tethered to whatever building in which she awakens.
ALIGNMENT: She's a psycho...probably a baddie.
PUNCTURABLE? Sure, why not? Tate is. lol
JOURNAL NAME: [personal profile] imatter
PB: Kate Mara

PERSONAL INVENTORY:
Clothes on her back.

POWERS/SPECIAL ABILITIES She's already dead...so you can't kill her. Whatever damage is inflicted will eventually heal, because in spite of the fact that she's corporeal, she's not actually a living being, so the damage isn't actually ever going to stick. Weakness of hers...if you tell her to "Go away!" with conviction, she will disappear. At least from your sight and temporarily.

PERSONALITY: To sum Hayden up in two words, she is a nymphomaniac psychopath. This is especially true now that she's dead. She doesn't know what it is about being dead that makes her so damn horny, but there it is; she's easy to get between the sheets and she's very forward when she wants to be the predator rather than the prey, in that case. She was not always a psychopath. Being beaten to death with a shovel and buried in a backyard under a gazebo tends to make an already borderline personality snap, as it turns out. She has said that "sometimes [she] vibrates with such rage, it terrifies [her]," and she's not shy about taking that out on people, especially other ghosts, because she can murder them as violently as she likes and they'll bounce back for more.

Hayden is obsessive. Once she sets her sights on something, she'll do everything she can think of to get it, be it a married man or a baby. She's incredibly bitter about the fact that, not only did she die, but she died while pregnant with Ben Harmon's baby, having decided against the abortion Ben planned in order to hide Hayden's pregnancy fro his wife. That bitterness has left Hayden — who was already mentally unstable — cold, angry, and unforgiving.

She can be very manipulative, acting sweet and adorable if she thinks it'll get her somewhere, but she's not very good at it. If she believes her attempts at one demeanor aren't bringing her the success she craves, she will immediately snap and become violent. Hayden gets very emotional and is prone to throwing tantrums that include everything from shouting to attempted murder. Walking on eggshells with Hayden would be a safe bet. Appease her and she'll be as pleasant as can be, but deny her and she can become very dangerous very quickly.

Quite honestly, all Hayden wants is to be loved. Why can't anyone understand that?!

HISTORY: Hayden McClaine.

SAMPLES:
FIRST PERSON

Not really what I pictured when I thought of Hell, but I'll take it over that fucking house any day. ...seriously, though, what the hell happened to this place? It looks like the end of the friggen world.

THIRD PERSON

"I'll wait. Forever, if I have to."

Hayden rolled her eyes and couldn't be bothered to hold back the sigh in her throat. She sure as shit wasn't going to wait for Ben and eventually, Tate would get bored of waiting on Violet. Maybe Tate had all of eternity to wait on someone who didn't want him, but Hayden didn't have the patience to go with the eternity damned to this fucking Murder House. Just thinking about it; just thinking about her body rotting in that goddamn maid's half-assed grave hiding under the gazebo in the backyard like a dirty fucking secret forcing her to spend eternity not in Heaven or Hell, but largely in the basement of the Murder House in Los Angeles, California made Hayden's blood boil. And yes, she could bleed. Oh, she could bleed plenty, it just never stuck for long.

You'll wait forever. You pussy-whipped little bitch, she thought, side-eyeing the moppy blonde standing beside her watching the Harmons setting up a Christmas tree in the home that didn't belong to any of them anymore like he thought maybe if he stood there long enough, Violet would change her mind. What a waste of a perfectly good dick, really. Really.

"Wait all you want; I'm not," she muttered, frowning, before she turned away and headed back toward the basement, leaving Tate in her wake. She didn't make it to the basement, though, at least...not the Murder House basement. Hayden headed down the staircase, but when she got to the bottom, instead of the basement with which she was annoyingly familiar, she found herself in a completely different basement. Probably the biggest basement, actually, that she'd ever seen in her life. ...or death.

Hayden ascended the stairs again and found herself in a casino, much to her surprise. It still had lights, but they were flickering and weak. There were no people; no sounds that seemed to belong in the setting. So Hayden pulled her face into something caught between surprised, disgusted, and impressed and moved to the front door, heading outside. She was on the Las Vegas strip, if the movies were anything to go by. Except, it looked like a fucking wasteland. "Sweet freedom," she dead-panned, rolling her eyes again. She was out of the Murder House, somehow, but this place didn't look much better. "Hooray."
